Our retail shop and online store showcase beautiful products crafted by our talented women. We also create custom corporate gifts and items for specialist retailers.
Our training includes sewing, leatherwork, beading, machine embroidery, printing, and nail care. The result? High-quality decor items, corporate gifts, jewelry, accessories, pet products, baby items, and soft toys. Plus, our nail bar offers fabulous pedicures and manicures.
How Does the Project Empower Women?
Wild Mongoo opens doors to new opportunities for vulnerable women. Our two-year program includes business management training, personal finance guidance, emotional support, and counseling. Continuous assessments and aptitude tests help each woman with long-term goal setting and life skills development, tailored to their talents and interests. Our goal is to reintegrate confident, skilled women into society, enabling them to support their families and contribute positively to the community.
When they’re ready, we help them find employment beyond Wild Mongoo or mentor them to start their own businesses. By December 2023, one woman successfully ran a professional embroidery business within Wild Mongoo, and another was preparing to open a spaza shop in her neighborhood.
